About the Role
In this role, you will design highly scalable and high performing technology solutions in an Agile work environment and produce and deliver code and/or test cases using your knowledge of software development and Agile practice. You will collaborate closely with business support teams, product managers, security and architecture to assist in resolving critical production issues to help simplify and improve business processes through the latest in technology and automation. You are a technical expert that will lead through the requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and support phases of a product. You are proficient in at least one core programming languages or packages.
What You'll Do
Requirements
Must have Strong knowledge on Power BI, SQL, SSIS, ADF, Cubes and Azure Data Bricks.
Must have strong knowledge on Stored procedures, designing data models and ETL processes using ADF or Azure Data Bricks
Should have real time work experience on MSBI (SSIS), Azure Data Factory Service (ADF), Data bricks.
Will be responsible for hands-on design and development on ADF, ADB and SQL server database.
Should have expert knowledge in writing SQL commands, queries and stored procedures. Ability to improve SQL performance: analyzing SQL joins and table structures.
Analyze and benchmark reporting and ETL performance; Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
Having knowledge on Azure cloud with experience on Azure SQL DB and Azure analysis server is preferred.
BI development background and coding experience in Azure stack - Migrate to Azure / Work with Azure services
Candidate should be able to design, build and deploy BI Solutions
Good Communication skills & Capability to work in a distributed team environment with minimal supervision is required.
Who You Are
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
5 – 8 years of experience with ETL Process, Power BI and Cloud technologies in software industry
CS degree or equivalent experience
Ability to break down product management stories into detailed design specifications for simple complexity business problems
Develops software and analyzesesolves problems of simple to complex business scenarios within a project framework
Follows and guides team members in Agile/XP development best practices: pair programming, test driven development
Uses software code management tools and processes to ensure code traceability and good governance
Develops test plans & follows strategies for small complexity business problems
