About the Role

As the Senior Manager of Meetings and Events, you will manage and oversee all company meetings and events, inclusive ofvirtual and in person that impact the entire field organization. You are responsible for setting strategic objectives, developing event plans, content development, allocating resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, you will provide guidance, leadership, and support to the Project Manager and other team members, ensuring high-quality execution of all events and meetings. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and project managementskills are essential to influence and be successful in role.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and manage event budgets, and oversee logistics such as venue selection, content development, catering, and audiovisual equipment.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and requirements, and ensure meetings align with organizational goals and track to budget.

  • Sound industry knowledge trends and best practices in event management, and continuously seek opportunities to enhance the quality and impact of meetings.

  • Act as the main point of contact for meeting contributors, exhibitors, and attendees, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the event planning process.

  • Provide coaching and feedback on meeting content to ensure storytelling and red thread is consistent throughout the meeting.

  • Evaluate event success and effectiveness through post-event analysis and feedback and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Manage crisis situations and resolve any issues that may arise during events, ensuring minimal disruption to attendees and stakeholders.

  • Ability to assess complex situations and analyze data to make judgements and recommend solutions.

  • Analyze data after each event to synthesize results and implement feedback.

  • Lead a team of event support staff to ensure flawless event execution.

Who You Are

  • Experienced in managing multiple tasks and projects, prioritizing, and adapting appropriately to meet all target dates.

  • Proven track record of events planning, managing projects, timelines, and deliverables with a high degree of attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Experience leading large program management efforts including establishing effective governance structures, cross functional coordination, and executive stakeholder management and reporting.

  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a dynamic business landscape.

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and projects, prioritize, and adapt to a changing environment.

  • Strong relationship building skills and experience working closely with senior executives and cross functional partners to influence strategic agendas and operationalize key strategic initiatives.

  • Strong critical thinking and business curiosity, including strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with complex and detailed data to drive insights and decisions.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and advisory skills, including speechwriting experience; proven track record of delivering exceptional written work.

  • Flexible to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of business; able to travel overnight as required.

Salary Range: $140,700 - $186,400 USD

Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
